• Collects patient specimens.
• Works as phlebotomist and processor.

• Follows the AIDET communication adopted by this institution.
• Enters data into the Lab. Information System and control monitoring websites.

Technicians must be accredited and must maintain accreditation as a medical laboratory technician, with ASCP. Technicians must be approved in Wyoming by State Statute.
• Medical Lab Scientist: This person must have a B.S. degree in an accredited medical technology program which includes one year of training in a school of medical technology approved by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
