Our medical images are managed by a fully digital environment referred to as PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System). Our PACS allows us to share radiology images with Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, University of Utah Hospital, Primary Children’s Hospital, Premier Bone Joint and Nuance® PowerShare™ Network (a nationwide cloud-based medical image sharing platform). We offer same day appointments and competitive rates.
Our radiology services include:
- X-ray: An X-ray is a quick and painless imaging test that uses small amounts of radiation to create pictures of the inside of your body. It helps providers diagnose things like broken bones, infections, lung conditions, arthritis, and other medical concerns.
- Ultrasound: An ultrasound is a safe, noninvasive imaging test that uses sound waves to create real-time pictures of organs, tissues, blood flow, and developing babies inside the body. It helps providers evaluate and diagnose a wide range of health conditions without using radiation.
- Bone Mineral Density (DEXA): A Bone Mineral Density (DEXA) scan is a quick, low-dose imaging test used to measure bone strength and assess the risk of osteoporosis and fractures. It helps providers detect bone loss early and monitor overall bone health over time.
- Body Compositions: A Body Composition DEXA scan measures more than just weight — it provides detailed information about muscle mass, body fat, fat distribution throughout the body and resting metabolic rate. This advanced scan can help support fitness goals, track progress, and give a clearer picture of overall health and wellness. No order is required.
