Discover the power of CPR with our expert-led classes! CPR is not only easy to learn, but it’s also a vital skill that saves lives. Shockingly, only 15 to 30 percent of individuals experiencing sudden cardiac arrest outside of hospitals receive bystander CPR, highlighting the urgent need for more trained responders.

In addition to CPR training, we offer comprehensive Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) courses. Equip yourself with the skills and knowledge to handle emergencies effectively. From CPR to advanced medical care, we’re here to ensure you’re prepared for any situation.

Current Classes

CPR and First Aid

Castle Rock Medical Center offers CPR and first aid classes for healthcare providers, first responders, and the general public.  These classes are taught by American Heart Association certified healthcare professionals and covers adult and infant/child CPR, obstructed airway, the use of barrier devices, and AED hands-on training. The first aid portion teaches individuals how to manage any injuries or illnesses until professional help arrives. Topics include first aid basics, medical emergencies, trauma emergencies and environmental emergencies.

Classes are taught the first three Thursdays of the month starting at 9 a.m. and lasting 4 to 6 hours.

    • The first two Thursdays of each month, we teach Heartsaver Total First Aid CPR AED including Child and Infant. This course is aimed at non-healthcare professionals, such as teachers, coaches, personal trainers, childcare providers, etc. This is the total package, which is often needed by OSHA, DFS, and Daycares.
    • The third Thursday of each month, we teach BLS Provider. This course is designed for healthcare professionals and individuals involved in providing medical care, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, etc.

You will get a confirmation email to confirm your registration and we will email you if there are any problems with your registration.

Registration fee is $65 due at the time of the class, payable by cash or check. Please make checks payable to “Castle Rock Medical Center.”

EMT classes

EMT Basic Class:  Castle Rock Ambulance Service will be hosting a Basic EMT course starting June 18, 2025 through October 16, 2025. Courses will be taught in person at Castle Rock Medical Center in Green River, WY. Classes will be held on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm to 9pm, with some Saturdays from 8am to 2pm.

Stop The Bleed classes

Stop the Bleed Class:  Castle Rock Ambulance Service will be hosting a Stop the Bleed course on June 23, 2025. This course will be taught in person at Castle Rock Medical Center in Green River, WY. Class will be held on Monday evening from 5pm to 6pm.
