Castle Rock Medical Center offers CPR and first aid classes for healthcare providers, first responders, and the general public. These classes are taught by American Heart Association certified healthcare professionals and covers adult and infant/child CPR, obstructed airway, the use of barrier devices, and AED hands-on training. The first aid portion teaches individuals how to manage any injuries or illnesses until professional help arrives. Topics include first aid basics, medical emergencies, trauma emergencies and environmental emergencies.
Classes are taught the first three Wednesdays of the month starting at 9 a.m. and lasting about 4 hours. There is a 6 person limit to each class. Registration fee is $65 due at the time of the class, payable by cash or check. Please make checks payable to “Castle Rock Medical Center.”
