A pediatrician is a physician who specializes in diagnosing, treating and preventing diseases and injuries in young children, teenagers and young adults. Pediatricians monitor their patients’ growth and development from infancy to young adulthood and provide routine healthcare, such as wellness examinations, immunizations and treatment of acute and chronic diseases.

Complete Care

In addition to well child checks, Dr. Fauntleroy can care for a wide variety of acute and chronic illnesses, including ear infections, urinary tract infections, eczema, asthma, ADHD, depression, etc. She enjoys caring for teenagers and the unique challenges that adolescence brings. Her team seeks to provide a calm and comforting environment for newborns and their parents and her nurses are Certified Lactation Consultants.

Connie Fauntleroy, MD

Dr. Fauntleroy has been the pediatrician at Castle Rock since 2012. She completed medical school and residency at Vanderbilt University and Children’s Hospital prior to relocating with her husband and children to Green River.  Dr. Fauntleroy enjoys taking care of children of all ages, from infants to teenagers.

Dr. Fauntleroy treats a wide variety of illnesses, discusses nutrition and development concerns, and helps support the unique challenges that adolescence brings. She provides well child visits and feels strongly that children should be vaccinated to protect themselves and the community. Her goal is to provide a calm and comforting environment for newborns and their parents. She and her lactation consulting team help new moms work through the challenges of breastfeeding.

Dr. Fauntleroy, her husband and five children enjoy family time, outdoor activities and are actively involved in their church.
