Brenna Kirsch, FNP, has recently earned her certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to better meet the growing need for compassionate mental health care. She offers psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and support for patients aged 13 and older, with plans to provide counseling services soon.

Castle Rock Medical Center is excited to announce the ability to offer Behavioral Health Services. Brenna Kirsch has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 10 years and has been working with Castle Rock Medical Center for the past 6 years. In 2022, she obtained her Menopause Society Certification and her Bioidentical Hormone Certification to provide specialized services to women with menopause and hormonal concerns. While Brenna has been practicing in Sweetwater County, she has seen the struggle patients have in accessing mental health care and the impact that mental health has on physical health. Seeing this need, Brenna returned to school in 2024 to obtain a Post Masters certification in Psychiatry.

Castle Rock Medical Center and Brenna are proud to announce her certification in a new specialty as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) able to practice with patients ages 13 and up. With this certification we can expand the services we currently provide to include psychiatric care and medication management, diagnostic evaluations and the near future, counseling services.
