Lynn Eskelson, MD

Dr. Lynn Eskelson (Dr. E) has been a Family Medicine/Emergency Room Physician for 30 years. He enjoys caring for babies to centurions, outpatient care, office surgery and urgent care. Before coming to Castle Rock, Dr. Eskelson practiced in Preston, Idaho for 25 years. His residency was at the University of Wyoming, and the University of Utah.

Dr. Eskelson is married, has 5 children and 16 grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, downhill skiing, scouting, and doing church activities.

Joe Amy PA-C

Joe Amy PA-C

Joe was born and raised in Corry, Pennsylvania. He graduated cum laud from the Cannon University Physician Assistant Program in 1982 where he specialized in Family Practice. He moved to Lander, Wyoming in 1983.

Joe has worked at Castle Rock Medical Center since 1995. As a Physician Assistant, he specializes in Family Practice medicine. He also provides Occupational Medicine and DOT physical exams.

His interests include photography, hunting, fishing, camping, biking, and Cowboy Single Action Shooting. He has severed as President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Board Member for the Wyoming Association of Physician Assistants.

Jacob Jamsa, FNP

Jacob Jamsa, FNP

Jacob joins us from Bountiful, Utah where he worked on the G.I., orthopedic and surgical floors as a Registered Nurse.

He completed his BSN in Nursing at Weber State University and received his Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Phoenix. Jacob provides primary and preventative care to patients of all ages and has a passion for helping and educating patients to live their healthiest lives.

Jacob is married and has 3 children. He enjoys the great outdoors and is looking forward to exploring the many hiking, fishing, and camping opportunities that Wyoming has to offer.

Brenna Kirsch, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, NCMP, ABHRT

Brenna Kirsch earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Montana State University in 2010, followed by her Master of Science in 2014, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2021 from Frontier Nursing University. Alongside her husband and 2 daughters, she cherishes outdoor adventures, including hiking, camping, fishing, and floating the Green River. After initially settling in Gillette in 2012, they returned to the area in 2019.

Since 2015, Brenna has served as a Family Nurse Practitioner, beginning her career in obstetrics and gynecology in Gillette, WY, where her passion for promoting women’s health blossomed. In 2019, she joined the Castle Rock Medical Center staff, delivering primary care to patients of all ages. Brenna has since earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and obtained certifications as a NAMS (North American Menopause Society) Certified Menopause Practitioner and in Advanced Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. With dedication and expertise, Brenna is committed to serving the women of Sweetwater County and their families at Castle Rock Medical Center.

Joel Robertson, PA-C

Joel Robertson, PA-C

Joel is a Wyoming native who graduated from Lovell High School in 2002. He then attended the University of Wyoming where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

While in Laramie attending the University of Wyoming, he was deployed to Iraq with his Army National Guard Unit, where he also trained in Combat Life Saving. Joel was a member of the National Guard for 8 years. Following his time in Laramie Joel received his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ, in 2012.

Joel started practicing at Castle Rock Hospital District in September of 2012. As a Physician Assistant, he likes being able to get to know his patients and their families. He feels like the primary care setting gives him the opportunity to form trusting relationships with those he is caring for and feels that is an important piece of good patient care.

Joel is married with 4 children. He loves fishing, hiking, sports, guitars, and most of all spending time with his family.

Kris has been a Physician Assistant at CRMC since 2000. Her broad scope of practice includes wellness exams, acute care, management of patients with multiple chronic health issues and a special interest in treating skin disorders. She enjoys building relationships with patients as their primary care provider. She received her Bachelor of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL.

Kris and her husband have 2 children. As a family they enjoy camping and travel. Involvement in their local Church parish keeps them busy.
